2015 NEW ZEALAND: Iheanacho, Success join Flying Eagles in New Zealand


 The camp of the Fly­ing Eagles has fi­nally confirmed that Euro-based Kelechi Iheanacho, Isaac Success and Moses Simon will all join the team at the U20 World Cup in New Zea­land.

The trio, according camp sources were given the clear by the head coach of the team, Manu Garba after their clubs refused to re­lease them for the camp in Nurnberg, Germany.
Iheanacho, Success and Simon had all been named in Nigeria final 21-man squad for the World Cup.
Coach Manu Garba therefore had to pick the players based on their cur­rent form at their respec­tive clubs.
Information reaching Daily Sun Sports had it that Iheanacho had been booked to fly out to New Zealand via Singapore on May 24, while Success will fly out to the World Cup from Malaga.
Gent forward, Simon would be the last player to join the Flying Eagles as his last game of the sea­son would be on May 24 in a Belgian championship playoff against Anderlecht.
Gent lead the standings after seven matches, with 43 points, two points ahead of closest rivals, Ander­lecht.
